Jacques Bermon Webster I, born on April 30, 1990, also known as Travis Scott (formerly Travi$ Scott) is an American rapper and singer. His stage name is the amalgamation of the name of his beloved uncle, and the initials Kid Cudi (whose real identity is Scott Mescudi), Scott signed his first major label contract in 2012 with Epic Records. Scott signed a joint-recording contract with Epic and T.I. The singer also signed a recording deal with Epic and T.I. Scott's debut full-length album, Owl Pharaoh (1983) was released on self-release. In 2013, Scott self-released his first full-length album, called Owl Pharaoh. He was followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) Rodeo, his debut studio album was the first album to feature the smash single "Antidote". His follow-up album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016), became his first top-ranked album on the Billboard 200. Scott followed that year with a joint album titled Huncho Jack Huncho that was released under the name Huncho Jack. The third studio album Astroworld was also released to acclaim from critics. The album also produced his debut Billboard Hot 100 number 1 single, "Sicko Mode" featuring Drake. In the latter part of 2019, Scott's record label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. Following the release of his single "Franchise", which featured Young Thug as well as M.I.A., Scott was able to release the album compilation JackBoys. Scott was the first rapper to reach first place on the Hot 100 with three songs in less than a year.
